Highlights 2024

Welcome to the highlights of the Harvey Party golf tour of Portugal, March 2024. 

A few days earlier than we normally travel, leaving London Gatwick at 11.25am on Wednesday March 6th, flying British Airways BA2660 into Faro and flying back as planned at 2.55pm on March 13th into Gatwick airport.

This year we are again 5 members of the team on tour – Terry, Keith, Rob, Andy1 and Andy2. We stayed at the Avenida Hotel again in the heart of Lagos, Portugal.

We visited a number of great Restaurants like Henrique, Irmaos (near the fort), Portofinos Italian Restaurant on the Marina, The Canteen called Adega da Marina, Clover Leaf Indian and gala dinner at Don Sebastio. We played Espiche golf course, Palmeras for the first time in years, and Boa Vista twice. 

The weather was a game of two halves. Wednesday to Saturday was a mix of rain and sun, but Sunday to Wednesday was lovely sunshine.
