Highlights 2020

Welcome to the highlights of the Harvey Party golf tour of Portugal, March 2020.

Our holiday this year has been dominated by the Corona Virus although that did not detract from enjoying a relaxing break to Portugal. The tour this year started with a major event that meant Terry was unable to join us. First from a forgotten Passport and then travel advice related to Corona Virus.

We left London on March 11th this year flying BA into Faro and flew back as planned on March 18th into a very quiet and eerie Gatwick airport.

This year we had only 3 members of the team on tour – Rob, Andy1 and Andy2. We toasted missing friends with a triple barrel, triple distilled bottle of Jameson. We stayed at the Avenida Hotel on the sea front opposite the Lagos Marina. A perfect locaton for bars, restaurants and Thai massage.

We visited a number of great Restaurants like Henrique, the Indian called Darbur and Don Sebastio. We played Espiche golf course twice, Parque De Floresta and Boa Vista.
